Well, I installed 3.8.1 on a clean copy of 3.0.1 and it seems lightyears faster than it had been. Previously, any mass update (i.e. update state on the VSS plugin) would trigger the JSP indexer and freeze any running java applications.

I’m not sure if it’s fortune or the Eclipse update, but my biggest objection to the latest release has been removed.

Well my experience with 3.0.1 has been bad all around. I had VERY strange widget focus problems, like widgets would not release focus, until I backed off to 3.0. Are you saying I should uninstall everything, install 3.0, update to 3.0.1 then install myeclipse?
