when using myeclipse 8.5, there was a right click context menu option, to open an item in explorer.
when I updated to 8.6 this menu option is missing.
I have myeclipse-desktop added, and it does show up in the file menu above, but no longer in the context menu.

How can I restore to the context menu?

I have tried to remove and re-add myeclipse desktop as well with no luck.

    Regards,
    Adam

    Adam,

It is not clear as to what is the issue you are referring to? Are you referring to opening project in the explorer view? Then open MyEclipse IDE, right click on a project and click – MyEclipse > Open in Explorer.
In case you are referring to shortcut MyEclipse menu on desktop / Start > Programs ( > Pulse ) > MyEclipse > MyEclipse 8.5/8.6. I need few more information. What is your OS and version? How did you install ME(8.5/8.6)? Using all-in-one installer / pulse / archived update site on top of eclipse classic? Also can you copy and paste your installation details – Open MyEclipse IDE, from menu options click on MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details.

Typically, if you want to add programs to your start menu you can do that in [USER-Home]\Start Menu\Programs. In case you have installed ME 8.6 using pulse, you should have a program for Pulse, which in turn should contain the shortcut for MyEclipse 8.6. In case you have installed ME 8.6 using all-in-one installer, you should have a program for MyEclipse which in turn should contain the shortcut for ME 8.6. Typically for windows OS, this is located at c:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Start Menu\Programs

I was refering to the right click on a project and click – MyEclipse > Open in Explorer. The “MyEclipse” Menu group was missing from the context menu. After creating a new workspace this menu group returned. I was then able to import my projects and restore this functionality.
