    Hi,

I have been using My Eclipse for 18 months now and I really rely on you for web application development. Thanks a lot for a great product.

As you may know Eclipse 3.3 is crashing on OS X 10.5.x after looking for a type/class and some other cases. The underlying issue has been fixed in the latest 3.4 builds, I have upgraded my local system to Eclipse 3.4M5 and it is working a lot better. However My Eclipse won’t work on top of 3.4M5 and I am really struggling adding WTP to some of my existing projects. MyEclipse really shines in that use case. Is there any hope to get a (beta) version of My Eclipse that works on top of 3.4? Being able to deploy to Tomcat 5.5, 6.0 or Jboss 4.2 would really get me out of my current mess…

    Thanks for your help!

    Marius

    Marius,
Our next release (MyEclipse 6.5) would be compatible with Eclipse 3.4 but that is targeted for June/July.

Ouch. I actually banged my head on the wall some more and managed to add the Eclipse Web nature to my projects. As I said the only reason I upgraded is because eclipse 3.3 is crashing on the OS X 10.5.

    Take care,

    Marius

hm, i am using eclipse 3.3.1.1 on my macbook pro (intel) and on my powermac (ppc)
both running leopard (10.5.2 currently). never had problems like crashing or something
else. i am using the default shipped java-version of leopard:
    java version “1.5.0_13”
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.5.0_13-b05-237)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.5.0_13-119, mixed mode)

in between: eclipse 3.3.2 was released today
