Using the EJB wizard, the “name”-attribute of the “@ejb.bean” tag equals the class name.

As an implication, e.g. the generated remote inteface receives the same name as the bean, what is not nice: When my bean is called PersonBean, its remote interface should not be PersonBean but Person.

I can achieve this by removing “Bean” from the “name”-attribute of the “@ejb.bean” tag after creating the EJB with the wizard. But doing it for each bean is cumbersome.

    What are the alternatives?

    thanx!

    Marcus,

The alternative is logging this an an enhancement request, which I’ve now done. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Ah, ok. You mean the removal of “Bean” in the “@ejb.bean name”, right?

    +1

    thanx!
