I’ve been successfully deploying J2EE projects to JBoss for over a month now, and today in the midst of deployments, I noticed the deployment configuration for one was removed somehow. After trying to add it again, I can only get the message “Error Creating Deployment”, followed by instruction to change the JDK setting (which doesn’t exist from what I can see) to the Application Server. The deployment configuration in Preferences>MyEclipse is enabled and was always configured properly.

I’ve reinstalled eclipse, the MyEclipse workbench, created new simple projects and other application servers and deployment configurations. NONE of my projects deploy anymore. I can’t even deploy the wizard-created JSP page to a tomcat directory!

Help? I’m especially confiused at how it doesn’t work as it originally did even after a complete uninstall/reinstall.

Unfortunately, this really isn’t much information to go on. One thing to check initially is that Window > Preferences > Workbench > “Perform build automatically on resource modification” is checked “on”.

Can you also provide the information we ask for in the Posting Guidelines thread at the top of this forum? That will give us the information we need to address this issue much faster.

Yeah, I guess I was kind of vague, sorry. I found the JDK setting it was looking for and set it. I’m not sure how it dissapeared.
