Using ME 3.4.2+QF2, Eclipse 3.0.1
Previewing struts-config.xml works fine but I need to export it – whatever I try I keep getting “error exporting image” – nothing else!
Tried .jpg & .jpeg but no difference!
any ideas?

Is the diagram fairly large? There is a known bug when tryign to export large diagrams on Windows that the image is too big and cannot be written out. I believe we know what the problem is internally but haven’t gotten the time to implement the fix yet. It should be comming soon as it effects a handful of users. We appologize for the problem.If the diagram is not large, please check your log file for exceptions: <workspace dir>\.metadata\.log
yes it is quite large, looks great on the screen but such a shame it woun’t export – you see I need to supply the diagram now to a customer – ah well back to the old screen grab, cut & paste joy!

We are pushing hard to have it in the next release, but it is still fuzzy what outlying bugfixes will make it in the next release… we are focusing on 2 or 3 core new functionalities and infrastructure changes in the next release and the amount of work involved is completely eclipsing anything else at the moment. The good news is that once that work is done and in, we can really enhance MyEclipse’s editing abilities and start knocking out the visual editors more effectively… the temporary bad news is that we don’t have time to look at anything else right now. So it might be in a fix after the next release.
