    rgomezh,

Sorry that you are running into this issue.

    1) Can you share your build id from Help > About MyEclipse Enterprise Workbench > Build Id ? Paste the build id here.

    2) Are you behind a firewall/proxy ? If yes then I suggest you add your proxy details to pulse. You can turn on your [Caps Lock] key. Next open pulse. This would prompt you to add proxy details. Please click [Yes] and follow the wizard

    3) Have you added this plugin using the Quick-Add Popular Plug-ins from MyEclipse Configuration Center? If not, I would recommend you give it a try.In case you are behind firewall / proxy, please enter your proxy details here – from MyEclipse IDE menu options click on Window > Preferences > General > Network Connections.

    4) Alternatively, download the local archive site from here – http://code.google.com/eclipse/docs/install-from-zip.html and add to your ME profile. Here are the steps –

    Steps :
    1) Downloaded google plugin for 3.5 from http://code.google.com/eclipse/docs/install-from-zip.html
    2) Unzip the zip file
    3) Open ME 8.6, goto help -> SAWC/MyEclipse Configuration center
    4) Go to software tab and click Add Site
    5) Click Add from Local Folder and browse the folder that is created in step 2
    6) Add name e.g. Google
    7) expand Google under personal sites and right click on ‘Google plugin for Eclipse 3.6’ which is under Plugin and click Add to profile
    8) click on Apply 1 change in Pending changes view
    9) Update and finally restart ME

Let me know how this works for you.

Hi swapna, thank you for the answer but I’m in the same point. I answer your questions below:

    1) MyEclipse Enterprise Workbench

    Version: 8.6.1
    Build id: 8.6.1-20101117

    2) No, Im not behind a proxy

    3) Yes I’ve tried to install this plugin using Quick-Add Popular… but the same error

    4) The same, I’ve downloaded the zip and I’ve followed the instructions, but the same error.

Maybe, do I need to install ohter plugins before?

    Thank You

    rgomezh,

Can you start the IDE with -clean, switch to a new workspace and then try installing the plugin ?
Here is an FAQ on how to start IDE with -clean :
    https://www.genuitec.com/forums/topic/troubleshoot-using-the-clean-command-line-argument/

There is no need to install any other plugins for Google plugin to work.

Let me know how this works for you.

Hi, I’ve tried with -clean and nothing, the same error.

But I have updated to MyEclipse 9.0 and with this version I have been able to install Google plugin.

Then I’ll start to work with MyEclipse 9.0

    Thank you anyway.

    Best regards
