    Moved from: http://www.poweredbypulse.com/forums/showthread.php?1968-Error-installing-plugin

My installation gives me this error :
No actionable updates; check log for details.

When I look at the list of Managed Changes; it displays all the maven related plugins to be removed. It doesn’t let me choose anything to disable then. Subsequently, when I try to add a plugin and install it; I get the following error:

Software being installed: MyEclipse Blue Edition 8.6 (Profile) 2.0.0.0000000013 (com.poweredbypulse.profile-961667-rmb-955009 2.0.0.0000000013)
Missing requirement: MyEclipse Blue Edition 8.6 (Profile) 2.0.0.0000000013 (com.poweredbypulse.profile-961667-rmb-955009 2.0.0.0000000013) requires ‘net.sf.eclipsecs.feature.group 0.0.0’ but it could not be found

    Sam,

Sorry to hear you are running into this issue. Could you provide below details to help me investigate further –
    1. Open MyEclipse IDE, from menu options click on MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details and copy and paste the same here
    2. Please elaborate how did you get the issue? What plugins were you trying to add to MyEclipse? How did you add plugins? Using update site / local site / dropins? Please share the update site/local site link.

I strongly recommend upgrading to MyEclipse 10.6 to take advantage of over 2-3 years of development work and several new features added to MyEclipse.

You can download it from the following link or using Pulse :

Also, this happens when I try to install any plugin. I searched for the testng plugin from the Software tab in the MyEclipse Configuration Center and tried adding it to my profile from there. But, I am stuck at the previous changes.

I tried 10.6 briefly; but had similar issues in it as well.

Could you provide below details to help me investigate further –
    1) Did you try removing any features/plugins from MyEclipse configuration center dashboard ?
    2) Can you please attach a screenshot of the MyEclipse 10.6 configuration center to help us get a visual of the issue ?

I have not tried removing any plugins in the near future; only tried adding which failed.
I tried attaching the screenshot, but keep getting this error:
Upload Error: Could not upload Attachment to ././modules/PNphpBB2/files/myeclipse_dashboard.jpg.
