I am getting an error when I try to install Eclipse TPTP through the update manager.
What I did (in Myeclipse 7) :
– used the update site url: http://eclipse.org/tptp/updates/site.xml (as described on http://www.eclipse.org/tptp/index.html)
– Selected all TPTP 4.5 sub categories except the examples and BIRT reporting.
– Select next, next and then get an exception popop, with the following information (too bad that I can’t add the screenshot as attachment):
An unexpected error occured preparing to install and/or launch the selected profile.
Reason:
An error occured while collecting the items to be installed.

In the details screen below I see:
No repository found containing: org.apache.jakarta_log4j/osgi/bundle/1.2.8.v200607172048
No repository found containing: org.eclipse.hyades.test.core/osgi.bundle/4.2.200.v20070605100
…. etc…
(more of those of hyades and also of tptp)

Anyd idea how I can solve this as I realy need to install TPTP again (had it installed I Myeclipse 6.5)..

Are you setting up TPTP with MyEclipse 7.0 or 7.0.1? TPTP is not certified to run with MyEclipse but we have had users successfully run this with past versions of MyEclipse (just like you were successful). MyEclipse 7.0 has some issue running 3rd party plugins so I would suggest you try 7.0 M2 incase this is urgent. We are already working on fixing the MyEclipse 7.0 3rd party plugin compatibility issue

I am running the following MyEclipse version:

Version: 7.0
Build id: 7.0-20081201

So, if I am correct, this means I have to upgrade to M2 to make TPTP work ?

If you manage the profile from Pulse Explorer, can you drop TPTP from catalog and see if that works. I got this tested by the dev team and seems to work this way.
