What version of Eclipse have you setup MyEclipse with ? Can you go to MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details and paste the information here for me.

Are you able to create a new project ?

    michelz,
That should not be the case. You should be able to open up projects from your old workspace without issues. Can you try starting MyEclipse using the -clean command and check if the projects open up:-

I am experiencing this same problem. I tried the -clean switch, but it did not help. A quick bit of googling seems to indicate it’s a problem with other Eclipse distributions as well, but no solutions are forthcoming. I’d love to know if you find anything.

I am experiencing this same problem.

Could you please give me some more details about the old projects that you are unable to open using MyEclipse 7.0 GA? What version of MyEclipse were they created with? Are these Eclipse or MyEclipse projects?

Sorry I was unclear. I have never owned an earlier version of MyEclipse. All projects were created with my current version, but I still get this same error message whenever I open ANY project.

Possibly related is that when I am debugging a project and hit a breakpoint, it sometimes complains that I don’t have the source code. When this happens, I have to select my currently-open project from the dialog, and then debugging works correctly.

Here’s my version info details. Thanks for any help you might be able to offer:
