Hi,

I’m new to using MyEclipse IDE. I’m trying to my JDK compiler compliance level from 5 to 1.4.

and I’m getting the following error:

Exception occurred while saving project preferences: /PBWebApp/.settings/org.eclipse.jdt.ui.prefs.

What do I need to do to change my compiler level settings??

When you set project specific settings, a new file is created that stores the preferences. Is the path specified for the preference file above writable by you? Are you using some sort of source control system that limits write access, for example? That would cause this issue.
