Error when starting JBoss within MyEclipse

    I’m receiving the following error when starting JBoss 4 from within MyEclipse. I am able to start it fine from a command prompt.

    Your setup looks ok, this error is strange. If you look at the startup script used by JBoss, did you augment it in any way? Are there any custom libraries that you need to add to JBoss’s startup script that you didn’t duplicate in the JBoss connector possibly?

    Also is that the entire console from trying to startup JBoss from MyEclipse? Did you make sure to use the JBoss 4 connector and not JBoss 3 accidentally?

    The only difference I can find between the MyEclipse console and starting the jtav server from a command line is in the command line output, I get the following line:
    …INFO [STDOUT] creating new MQXAQueueConnectionFactory object
    When I start the jtav server from MyEclipse, I get the error:

    If you look farther down your problem is this:

    Caused by: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/ibm/mq/jms/MQXATopicConnectionFactory

    Looks like your IBM JMS JAR is missing from your app server’s classpath. You need to find where that JAR is, then add it to your app server classpath under your JBoss 4 > Paths settings in the MyEclipse App Server preferences. That should take care of the issue.
