using the text editor to modify a .jsp and then saving it results in:

    Errors during build.
    Error instantiating builder: com.ibm.etools.validation.validationbuilder.
Plug-in com.genuitec.myeclipse.compatibility was unable to load class org.eclipse.wst.validation.internal.operations.ValidationBuilder.

    Brian,

Please see my response in your other thread as the issue is likely the same:

-clean seems to have fixed this problem. However, it’s a nuisance to have to do this each time a new MyEclipse is released.

It sure is a nuisance, but not MyEclipse’s fault. There isn’t any interface in Eclipse to trigger this from a plug-in as far as I know.

if it is not MyEclipse’s fault, then why did everything work fine with the last milestone version of 5 and go to hell in a hand basket when I
installed the GA version? And by the way, I’m back to having the “processing dirty regions” problem, so I guess that I’m going to have
to do a -clean every day to make MyEclipse happy again…
