I am new to Jscript and I am struggling with trying to expose the actual label names of menu items. Is it possible that you could provide the appropriate Javascript expressions to (1) Get the label name; and (2) assign the name to a variable. See below:

    A MobiOne Menu
    ——————–
    Menu Name 1
    ——————–
Menu Name 2 <—————- (User Click)
    ——————-

    Menu Name 3
    ——————-
    figure 1

Where figure 1 represents a select or menu list, I need to be able to get the actual text of the Label of the item selected. In this instance I would need to assign the value “Menu Name 2” to a variable string.

I have looked at the Java snippets in the Learning Center and I have am able to retrieve the “value” field in multiple select lists, but I have not had success in getting the actual assigned Label for the menu of submenu items.

If you could share the Javascript necessary for ‘Get’ and variable assignment for the menus I’d appreciate it.

    I thank you advance.

    Regards,
    Mike
