A logical follow-on to the File View in 5.5 would be to select files or directories and compare them with Eclipse’s excellent Compare To… editor. A logical follow-on to that would be to create a new “Diff SNAP” to compare files & dirs straight from Explorer (along with command line use for integration purposes). I love using Eclipse as a diff tool and I wish it was more generally useful. Importing directories into a dummy workspace just to do some diffs is a pain in the butt.
