ctm1988MemberOur development team has been working on an app for a few weeks now and all of a sudden MobiOne lost all of the fonts in the dialog box. I deleted the temp files on my computer and was able to get most of the fonts back except the italics and bold Italics is really messed up. They are appearing in a different Lagrange. I have attached what i am talking about. When this all took place i have re-installed mobi and that didn’t help either. So i am not sure what the issue is. I am hoping that you might have a solution or can point me in the right direction.
Let me know if you need more information.
Note: When we run the app in the test center the fonts look correct but they are all messed up in the editor itself for anything that is italics or bold italics.

support-octavioMemberHi ctm1988,
Could you please check how font dialog looks in standard notepad.exe application? Does it have the same issue?
Also you can check Windows wide language/location settings from the Control Panel to be set to USA/UK.Please let us know is it helps.

Go to Format Menu->Font… with this you’ll invoke the same system font dialogApril 18, 2013 at 11:06 am #338195
ctm1988MemberO i miss understood what you were requesting. I went ahead and done that and it looks great. The fonts are coming out with no strange characters or anything like that.
Any other ideas on why this issue is happening? I just don’t want to re image my computer but i might have to to make this work.April 18, 2013 at 2:35 pm #338209
support-octavioMemberCan you provide us more details to understand what could be the issue?
What mobione version are you running?
What OS you have installed?
Are you running in a virtual machine?
Also, please share your .log file with us. It’s located at <user-home>/.mobione/runtime/.metadata/.logApril 19, 2013 at 10:35 am #338249

I am having issues with the Italics and the Bold Italics from showing correctly on the forms. and also it is showing up strangely in the font dialog box. What mobione version are you running?
I was first running 2.3.1 when this issue happened. Then i tried to update to the bata copy that is available 2.3.2.dev4 and the issue was still present on that version as wellWhat OS you have installed?
I am running windows 8Are you running in a virtual machine?
NoAlso, please share your .log file with us. It’s located at <user-home>/.mobione/runtime/.metadata/.log
I will attach the logs to this post.Note: I have uninstalled the software and re installed and that didn’t help either. So i am guessing that it is something with my computer but i am not sure at this point. I am about to re image the computer to resolve this issue because it is slowing development time down.

support-octavioMemberCan you check in other programs that the font dialog is showing up correctly? this will help us to isolate that the problem is related just to mobione.

ctm1988MemberI have checked with notepad and also Adobe Dreamweaver and the font dialog box shows up correctly on both of them. It appears that it is just with mobi at this point.
