I have eclipse set up with all dark/black backgrounds and light colors for foregrounds.

The myeclipseIDE editors look pretty ugly with the reverse set up: white background.

In the preferences for the JSP editor I can set individual items to a black background and a bright color for foreground. After setting all those items, the editor changes those items as described, but the majority of the editor (all the blank space for example) is still white background.

Where can I change this? There doesn’t seem to be a default background color in the common editor preferences. Is there some way I can get a black background in the myeclipseIDE editors?

It seems pretty nicely configurable, I hope something as basic as changing the background wasn’t overlooked.

    Ron,
Did the “background” preference at: MyEclipse>Editors>Common Editor Preferences help?
