    My “General Editor” preferences are set to use tabs instead of spaces; when I perform a “Format Document” on javascript code, all indentation is done with spaces (though it seems to get the number of them right—if the tab level is set to 3, there are three spaces for every tab it should have inserted).

    Thanks,

    M.T. You may be overriding these settings under your JavaScript > Source settings under Editors, double check that setting.

    ….under Window::Preferences::MyEclipse:JavaScript::JavaScript source.

    Maybe this is an option under a newer version; will there be any more releases for MyEclipse under Eclipse 3.1.x, which my firm is now standardised on (at least for the moment)?

    Thanks,

    M.T.,
    Not likely unless there is a show stopping bug that we need to back port.

    Is it a “feature” of the latest MyEclipse for the latest Eclipses?
