There is/was a plugin developed by eclipse.org for FTP & WebDAV synchronization.
It was mostly a good plugin and provided a good service. I have experiences some problems with it since upgrading to eclipse 3.1 (it forgets how to pull the username/password from the keystore) so AssertionExceptions all over the logs when try to synchronize. Anyhow, I was wondering if it would be possible for the MyEclipse team to take over development of this feature and support it.Just a thought.

Scroll down almost to the bottom, and you’ll see “FTP and WebDAV Support”.Note I have found a solution to my problem on the eclipse buglist, but its still sad that the code is no longer being maintained.
Here is the spot in the mailing list that states it is no longer being maintained. (It is also stated on multiple bug reports)

I absolutely agree with tbrantb. I was the one to get the bad news from the eclipse-team-dev. 😉
Did someone at myeclipse already take on the assignment? I am looking into maintaining the plugin, that’s why I’m asking.
