I am writing a signage program and I would like to have a full screen view. ( No navigation buttons and no notification bar.) It will be on the android platform and be displayed on a TV.

Sorry to interrupt you, but Cordova comes out of the box with fullscreen enabled..

You generate all sort of files during the build process. Wouldn’t it be possible to set <preference name=”fullscreen” value=”true” /> in the config.xml during the build process? I guess this can be a simple setting in the ‘build android/ios application’ menu.

We are aware of cordova’s capabilities but the design system requires more accounting than just showing or hiding the status bar. At some pt we may enable hiding the status bar.
