While ME is currently not focusing on RCP development, it would be nice to have some of the features provided by the magic WEB-INF/lib folder generalized. I would like to have non-web projects be able to designate folders as library folders that would automatically have jar files added to the build path.

This type of functionality will be considered for our 5.0 release near the end of this year.

5.0 release? That is not showing up on the roadmap.

Also, are there any plans yet for a ME Pro or ME Team Studio to compete with MS offerings? 🙂

    Andy,
5.0 is not on the roadmap because we haven’t finalized what will go into it. As far as the other questions I have no idea.

Well, for what it is worth, I am very much in favor of collaborative tools like what Sun is offering within Sun Java Studio Enterprise 7, the bug tracking features of MS VS2005 Team Studio, the code auditing of Instantiations EclipsePro Audit and MS VS2005 Team Studio, and the test generation features of Instantiations EclipsePro Test and MS VS2005 Team Studio.

Roll it into one integrated package for Eclipse and you’ve got something. Now where do I sign?
