I’m using a workspace that was originally created with eclipse, the project is WST based project and to get it to lauch correctly I have to use a Generic Server… However, i can’t seem to figure out how to get this tab to show up in any perspective. It’s there in the debug perspective but I want it either Java, or MyEclispe java Enterprise, adding it to the Show View of the current perspective seems to have no effect as its not an option in Show View.
I can add the MyEclipse Servers tab, no problem. But I dont want that one since those servers dont recognize my application correctly.bartmcfarling
Im sorry the question is not clear to me. Could you please upload a screenshot of the tab that you are referring to. You can hit the POST REPLY button at the bottom and upload the image.This is what i don’t want, the MyEclipse Servers but this is what i get when i go to show view/servers

Thank you for posting the screenshots. Please correct me if I wrong but the first screenshot is showing the JBoss server in the bottom right hand corner. Isn’t that what your looking for?It is, its only available in debug perspective… If i were to close that window, I would have no way to get it back. I just happened to be there. Is there a way i can show it in another perspective… I cant find it anywhere.
Sorry,its in the My Eclipse Java perspective, not in my java perspective, I accidentally closed it in My Eclipse Java perspective and can’t get it back! nor can i add it to any other perspective.
Figured it out, Just go to the run as or debug as dialog and launch from there and the tab will appear.
