Yesterday I tried using the Groovy editor for CodeMix. What I found is that it cannot reference Java classes that are not already imported. I tried using Ctrl+Space to find a class, but if it wasn’t part of an existing import it was not found.

I have heard that some people in our office use VS Code to edit Groovy files because it is better than the available Groovy plugin for Eclipse. CodeMix seems like a much better integration since we already use it for the rest of our code.

    Myron,

I will have to test this myself and get back to you.

    1) Do you happen to know if it works the way you desire in VS Code?

    2) I did briefly research groovy, but I could not find a good extension for it. The one I did find apparently did not add much support. Did you install any extensions – if so, which one? Could you check with the developers using VS Code what extension (if any) they’re using?
