    All,

hoping someone out there can help us.
We are looking for a .ksh .sh shell editor that will allow us to more easily edit UNIX shell scripts in eclipse.

I did find http://sourceforge.net/apps/trac/shelled/ BUT am having trouble installing this.

    I added the site

    https://downloads.sourceforge.net/project/shelled/shelled/ShellEd%202.0.2/update

selected the package to add, but during install i get the following errors:

    Software being installed: MyEclipse 10 (Profile) 2.0.0.0000000008 (com.poweredbypulse.profile-2626424-rmb-3312575 2.0.0.0000000008)
Missing requirement: ShellEd Core Plug-in 2.0.0.201207181255 (net.sourceforge.shelled.core 2.0.0.201207181255) requires ‘bundle org.eclipse.dltk.core [4.0.0,5.0.0)’ but it could not be found
    Cannot satisfy dependency:
    From: MyEclipse 10 (Profile) 2.0.0.0000000008 (com.poweredbypulse.profile-2626424-rmb-3312575 2.0.0.0000000008)
    To: net.sourceforge.shelled.feature.group 0.0.0
    Cannot satisfy dependency:
    From: ShellEd 2.0.2 (net.sourceforge.shelled.feature.group 2.0.2)
    To: net.sourceforge.shelled.core [2.0.0.201207181255]

Can anyone help me solve this ? or point me to a shell editor that works on MyEclipse 10.6

    Thanks

    Mark

    markw21,

We do not provide intrinsic support for third party plugins, but we will try to assist you in this case.

ShellEd 2.0.2 plugin is not compatible with MyEclipse 10.6 (base eclipse is Indigo). For further reference please take a look at this thread:
    http://sourceforge.net/apps/trac/shelled/wiki/Documentation/InstallGuide

Please install ShellEd plugin which is compatible with Eclipse indigo and then install it in MyEclipse 10.6.

Let us know how it works for you.
