For a good period of time, I had been able to update MyEclipse 7.0 (.1?) by clicking Install when the Pulse dialog popped up when MyEclipse is first run. Now, I’m once again getting the following:

support-joyMemberSorry that you are having trouble. As far as the failsafe, when you try to install plugins from a 3rd party update site, many times their sites are down or temporarily unavailable and it prevents users from installing the plug-in. In MyEclipse 7.0 we try to prevent your plugin installation from failing and that includes a failover mechanism where if you can’t get the plugin you are looking for, we try to get the exact same plugin from our own repository. In your case it seems that both the update site and our own repository is failling.
Can you tell me what is the update you are trying to install? Also if you are behind a firewall?
