    I hope this bug wasn’t posted already, but I couldn’t find anything yet.

    as described below, hibernate needs a joined-subclass-key for inheritence, but this one is missing using MEs autocompletition. typing it manually works, so xdoclet installation supports it.

    i refreshed xdoclet data and modules in the preferences, but this it didn’t solve the problem

    http://xdoclet.sourceforge.net/xdoclet/tags/hibernate-tags.html#@hibernate_joined-subclass-key__0__1_

    using ME 3.8.3, Eclipse 3.0.1

    thx in advance

    there’s a @hibernate.joined-subclass-key tag, but it is implemented at the wrong place.

    @hibernate
    .joined-subclass-key is a class level tag
    ME implements it as method level tag

    It looks like there is a couple of bugs in the xdoclet-hibernate-module-1.2.2.jar file, specifically the xtags.xml file. I will enter a PR in our tracking system and we will follow up with the xdoclet module authors to determine the corrected values. Thanks for your report and sorry for the inconvenience.

    #244664

    Hi all

    Sorry to be a pain – is there a fix available for this issue or can anyone recommend a workaround in the interim? I’m trying to push the use of xDoclet tags in MyEclipse to the place I’m contracting but it’s crunch time…

    Cheers

    Simon

    Simon,
    The bug seems to be with XDoclet which we have since upgraded to the most recent 1.2.4 or 1.2.5, I don’t recall, release. If the bug is still there there isn’t much we can do about it.

    Our XDoclet functionality in 5.0 may change slightly so this might fix the issue, but I am not certain.

    Simon,

    I believe the only issue is that our XDoclet content assist is incorrect. If you go ahead and manually type in the XDoclet tag at the correct location it will work.
