I’m currently evaluating MyEclipse 8.5 Blue as a replacement for RAD. One thing that’s bothering me is that when I make a change to a project e.g. modifying a JSP file, I then click on Run As… to see what it looks like. However it requires WAS to restart each time I do that just to see a small change. Is there a way to hot deploy the app without restarting WAS each and every time? RAD was able to do this.

Can you give some more information?
1. Can you copy paste your installation details from MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details?
2. What is the mode of deployment that you are using? Packaged/Exploded?
Can you try using exploded mode of deployment and check if the issue persists?
