I config for remote WebSphere on MyEclipse Blue 8.6:

    name: server1
    Soap port: 8880
    Admin port: 9060
    Http port: 9080
    Debug port: 7777
    WebSphere directory: \\server1\AppServer

But when I connect to server(click to Debug Server), the error “Failed to connect to remote VM. Connection refused.” has been throw.

    cuong-nm ,

Sorry that you are seeing with MyEclipse.

Can you answer some more questions for me to understand the issue better ?

    1) Paste your Build Id from Help > About MyEclipse Blue Edition > Build Id here.

    2) Can you recheck if the debugging port is set to correct value ?

    3) From the error it looks like the debugging is not enabled. You will have to enable it on the admin console as well apart from configuring it in the Windows > Preferences. Login to the admin console, use the Debugging Service link, check the ‘Enable service at server startup’ , save the changes and restart the server. Now click on Debug Server

    4) Take a look at this tutorial for Remote Websphere support in MyEclipse. Please recheck the steps followed :
    http://www.myeclipseide.com/documentation/quickstarts/blueedition/blue_remote_websphere/

Let me know how it works for you.
