jeffhoranMemberHas anyone solved this problem? During the installation I find the correct location of eclipse at: C:\bea\workshop92\eclipse. The contents of that dir are:
10/11/2007 11:25 AM <DIR> . 10/11/2007 11:25 AM <DIR> .. 06/27/2007 05:32 PM 59 .eclipseproduct 07/02/2007 10:26 AM <DIR> config 06/27/2007 05:31 PM <DIR> configuration 06/27/2007 05:32 PM 16,865 epl-v10.html 06/27/2007 05:31 PM <DIR> features 10/11/2007 11:22 AM <DIR> links 06/27/2007 05:32 PM 6,585 notice.html 07/17/2007 01:09 PM <DIR> plugins 06/27/2007 05:32 PM <DIR> readme 06/27/2007 05:32 PM 32,567 startup.jar 09/17/2007 03:27 PM 3,890 velocity.log
The .eclipseProduct file is there and looks like:
name=BEA Workshop id=com.bea.wlw.workshop version=9.2.0
The installation completes successfully with 4 errors and 2 warnings. From the installation log file:
Create Shortcut: C:\dev\ME551plugin\MyEclipse 5.5.1 GA.lnk Status: WARNING Additional Notes: WARNING - Shortcut has no target: ignoring Modify Text File - Single File: No Target Chosen Status: ERROR Additional Notes: ERROR - Unable to locate ASCII text file to be manipulated. There was no ME start shortcut created. Just a ME uninstall shortcut.
Installation of icons was configured to the desktop (not an eclipse path).
It seems to me that no shortcut should be considered a failed installation. Is there a way to fix this?
Thanks

Loyal WaterMemberjeffhoran,
Can you rephrase the question for me. Im not sure what you are trying. What version of MyEclipse are you working with ? Can you go to MyEclipse > Installation Summary > installation Details and paste the information here for me.October 12, 2007 at 1:12 pm #276883
