I have a java project I’ve been happily working on, but I’ve migrated it to a new machine and now it doesn’t seem to be a java project any more. A couple of the symptoms are that the properties tab no longer includes “java build path” and I can’t drill into methods using Ctrl-click.

    Please can you help?

Can you create a new project and check if you can see java build path under properties and the other stuff ?

    Nipun,

I have checked out several projects on the new machine and the others are behaving themselves, so it seems to be just that one.

Can you try cleaning your new workspace using the -clean command as outlined here:

Sorry I didn’t see your reply – must have forgotten to tick the notify box. I’ve tried starting myeclipse with -clean – my project still looks the same.

Maybe you project is corrupt. Can you create a new java project and copy paste part of the old project into the new project. Does that help ?
