Correct. You need to join into Apple iOS Developer Program to be able build your native app (.ipa file).

Hi tasosstr,

If deploying an app to iOS devices is a requirement then you have to pay Apple for a certificate and profile to build and distribute your app. Android is less stringent. And you always have the option to go with a webapp and distribute as an HTML5 mobile website.
