I’m trying to remove alll traces of eclipse, and install everything afresh.

I uninstall myeclipse , delete eclipse folder, look for hidden folders and files in my users home directory, only file a file for myeclipse.

then download a fresh eclipse, start it wiith -clean, and it sitll has views that don’t work cause I haven’t reinstall the realted plugins

    xeperno ,

You have started eclipse in old workspace (default name is workspace in your home directory)
If you want fresh install , you have to find this folder and remove it or start eclipse with option
    -data <new_workspace_folder>

    Best regards

You’ll also need to delete the file at <eclipse-install>/links/ and then restart eclipse with ‘eclipse.exe -clean’. Once you’ve done that, reset your perspective to the default and that’s about it. Then install a new Eclipse / MyEclipse setup and open the workspace with it.
