    Hi,

Have a fixed header and footer?

It occured to me whilst walking through the various processes in making an app, I was in effect, creating the same content on all of the pages.

Is there a way in which the header and footer content (nav bar etc) can be fixed so that they always remain on the screen rather than scroll off the page and the same scrolling in?

    Hope that made sense 😉

    Hi Richard,

I thought this was solved in previous response: http://www.genuitec.com/support-genuitec/viewtopic.php?p=21302#p21302

    Do you need additional assistance?

There is nothing wrong with multiple screens. It is your choice to use multiple screens or to use a multipage widget with a many pages. Multipage widget is not really designed for a large number of pages. For example if you are jamming 26 pages into a multipage widget the toolbar will only provide buttons for the first few pages. Thereafter you will need to manage the layout and navigation which is a bit more complicated than working with simple screens and transitions between them. My recommendation is before you start modifying your current app that you prototype a revised UI and get it working exactly how you want it before you begin refactoring your primary application.

I played around with a multipage widget that had about 25 pages along with a another multipage widget that held buttons with a ‘page’ variable for the next or previous pages. Seems like it had promise but I never got around to finishing it. Its an idea though…(not sure about being a good one.)

I found Multiwidget limiting; would have been great to be able ‘fix’ the header and footer content instead of it scrolling but the widget had problems handling 20+ pages.

I have an idea though so playing around..
