    Hello,

    New to MyEclipse and currently evaluating it for purchase. I’m trying to figure out how to change the Deploy Location for deployment on the WebLogic 8 server.

    The deploy location it has defaulted for me is below. And it won’t allow me to change it.

    {BEA_INSTALL_DIR}/user_projects/domains/mydomain/applications/{WEB_PROJECT_NAME}

    I would like for the files to get deployed to a different directory under the mydomain directory. This directory corresponds to a different server I have configured in WebLogic.

    Thanks in advance for any help.

    Currently custom deployment locations are not supported but it an open enhancement request that will coem in a future release.

    I am using eclipse 3.0 and myEclipse3.8.4.

    My company currently has a deployment structure that looks like this:

    c:bea/user_projects/domains/enterprise/config/enterprise/applications/application.ear/{WEB_PROJECT_NAME}

    I can set up the weblogic 8 deployment, set the execution domain root and execution domain name, but when it deploys the web app, it puts the exploded directory {WEB_PROJECT_NAME} under /applications.

    Is there a way I can get it to put the exploded directory under applications/application.ear?

    Thanks!

    If you are using MyEclipse 4.0 Milestone 2, you would be able to setup a custom location deployment for this.
