    Hi guys

I am changing the context of the webapp, from being

    /mywebapp to /company/mywebapp

and when i try to deploy it it says
    Invalid location

    My configuration is:
    JDK 1.4.2
    MyEclipse 2.6.4
    Eclipse 2.12
    Windows 2000
    Tomcat 5.0.12

    any clue?
    thanks

The MyEclipse deployer relies on the auto-deployment capability of each appserver. Thus for webapps deployed in exploded mode the default convention is to create a directory with the name of the webapp and copy the app’s code into it. The directory serves as the webroot and its name is the context-root (e.g., http://localhost:8080/myapp). Multi-path context’s are not supported by the appservers without modifying their configuration or providing an appserver specific deployment descriptor. This is documented but doesn’t seem to be available in the help or on the site at this time.

During the next month we are planning to revamp and upgrade documentation, demo’s, provide example projects, and perform general clean up.
