how to disable making backup of design files when upgrading?

    using 1.2.2

    and it seems to keep making a backup of the previous
    one – naming it 1_2_0 suffix.

    how can i stop it from doing it.

    The designer update dialog includes an option to create this backup file. See the following screenshot of the dialog.

    If you don’t see this dialog it might be that sometime in the past you clicked the “Don’t bug me again” checkbox. If so you can revise this setting at Designer Window menu>Settings>General settings page. See below.

    in settings>>General, i’ve got upgrade unchecked.

    yet it keeps saving files with 1_2_2 suffix.

    Poop! Bug! I can replicate this in 1.3.1 as well. 🙁
    I have opened a bug and we will get it fixed in the 1.3.2 update.
