Guys, I use MacOS and caught the MyEclipse 7 but would like to know how do I install plug-ins. For example, JBoss Tools, I downloaded the plugin and theoretically I would have to copy the folder “features” and “plugins” and be ready installed (This in Eclipse normal, not in MyEclipse 7), and how do I install this plug-in MyEclipse 7 using MacOS?
I tried to add the URLs to which the MyEclipse download and install the plug-in, but do not understand how the right management by Pulse.
So if anyone knows how to please me a tip on how to do that.

    Thanks

You can drag and drop plugins into the /dropins folder to setup plugins but JBoss Tools are not compatible with MyEclipse.

Okay, understood. Must drag the files from the plugin, into the folder dropins. But in the MacOS, the MyEclipse 7 is a file so, and if I click “Show Package Contents” does not see a folder dropins. You know me as I proceed in MacOS?

    Thanks for the reply

Im sorry for the confusion. Mac actually represents entire application installs by a single file, so there is no “/dropins” folder persay. You will have to install it using Help > Software Updates > Add/Remove software, and adding the update site then checking the checkbox next to the software you want to add.

BUT, given the specific software your trying to add (JBossTools) it’s not compatible with MyEclipse because we already integrate it — so in your particular use-case, you cannot install that software into MyEclipse.
