I just added struts capabilities to my project. All things happen that I don’t like (generating classes in the web-inf/classes folder) I’m using maven as a build tool so I don’t want this.

Question 1: Is there anything I can do to prevent this?

Question 2: How do I remove the struts capabilities?

Joris,
1) You can remove Struts capabilities from the project, but that will also remove the ability to use the Struts wizards, flow modeller, etc.
2) There is no automated way, so switch to your Navigator view, open up the .project file and remove the last line that looks like:

<nature>com.genuitec.eclipse.cross.easystruts.eclipse.easystrutsnature</nature>

Save the close it, close your project and reopen it.
(Optional) There may be a .mystrutsdata file, you can erase this as well.
