    Hi,

I’ve just installed MyEclipse and I want to configure the MyEclipse preferences “BEA home directory”, “WebLogic installation directory”, and “JBoss home directory” to use my Windows environment variables BEA_HOME, WLS_HOME and JBOSS_HOME respectively. However, I can’t find any way to do this. I tried %BEA_HOME% and ${BEA_HOME} but neither syntax seems to be acceptable.

Am I using the wrong syntax? Is there some additional step I have missed which is required for me to be able use environment variables? Or is it just not possible to use environment variables in these (and other) preference values?

    Thanks in advance,
    Lawrie.

    Lawrie,
These paths right now need to be absolutely, we don’t support environment variables at this time.
