I’m trying to figure out how to upgrade from MyEclipse Enterprise to Pro for a Mac.

They make me work on a Mac… it wasn’t my idea.

Anyway, I have my license, but can’t find anything on an additional download or how to make the upgrade.

    Thanks for you help.

You mean you want to upgrade from Standard to Professional ?

Can you write a mail to subscriptions@genuitec.com stating your account name and what you want.

    I’m still having trouble.

I have downloaded the latest version of MyEclipse for a Mac OS (6.0.0 M1 build id: 20070629-6.0.0-M1).

I have entered my license key that was sent to me for the professional version.

I still can not get the professional features to work (eg. Javascript debugger). They don’t even appear as options.

I’ve tried writing an email, but didn’t get a response.

I’ve searched the forums, and couldn’t find anything.

How do I get the Professional features to work?

    Is there a special download?

What do I need to do?

    Thanks

    Hi davidragan,
I just checked and it seems like you ahve a professional subscription key. There is no special download to get the professional feature. There are some professional feature that are not available on MAC. Can you please go through the list of feature just to make sure your looking for something thats available on MAC :-

Looks like everything with Javascript debugging is not available on Mac. Do you have any idea when those features might become available for Mac OS?

I really like MyEclipse and was looking forward to being able to use it.

    Thanks

    I have another problem….

I switched to using a windows machine (great excuse to get rid of the Mac at work)…. and I can set break points…. however when I try to use the professional features (eg. JavaScript Debugger) they aren’t there.

    Any ideas?

Are you able to work with UML ? This is another feature thats available with Professionl. I just want to make sure the key was accepted and you are working with a professional version of MyEclipse.

    Does not seem to work.

Is there a way to verify my key was for professional?

I have already verified your key. Thats not the problem. Can you go to C:\Documents and Settings\<Your User Name> and check the .myeclipse.properties file to make sure your key is present in the file.
