I am using subversion as a team provider for eclipse.
Subversion stores a copy of the file under .svn/text-base/.
Every resource under .svn is marked as a team private member with IResource.setTeamPrivateMember.
The html tidy parses these files and reports errors in them. So what i see is multiple errors like:
Warning: missing ‘!DOCTYPE’ element declaration – column 1

    on resources:
    ReactorPortal/webapp/print.html
    ReactorPortal/webapp/.svn/text-base/print.html

Like the rest of the MyEclipse builders, the html tidy builder should ignore resources marked as team private members.

    Configuration:
    Windows 2000 sp4
    J2re 1.4.2_04
    Eclipse 3.0 M9
    MyEclipse 3.8 beta1

Excellent suggestion. I’ve logged it and the thread as the rationale. Thanks again for the constructive feedback. We’ll get it addressed in Beta 2.
