To whom it may concern:
When I bring up the MyEclipse IDE 5.1.0 GA it no longer automatically connects to ClearCase as it had done in the past. I then click the Connect to ClearCase button and/or menu selection and I get a status flash (very short period of time) in the progress window but it fails to connect. Any ideas?

I’m sorry, we don’t provide the ClearCase plugin in MyEclipse so I don’t know what would be wrong.

You can check your log file (<workspace dir>\.metadata\.log) for exceptions that might shed some light on why it’s failing.

According to this post someone else had the same problem after installing the Microsoft .NET studio. I also had installed the .NET studio this past weekend. So it appears that Microsoft has struck again…
