IDE looses subscription

    Hi,

    I have the following problem. Everytime I start my IDE, I’ve been asked for the Subscription Key. I enter it, but the next time I start MyEclipse it asks me again.

    I had this Problem first under 7.5 when my old subscription was expired. This is also the Subscription shown in the Dialogbox when it ask’s me for a new one.

    In between I had switched to MyEclipse Blue 8.5 (i uninstalled 7.5 and made a clean install of 8.5) and still the same Problem.

    I’m working on a 32bit Windows Vista System. IDE is running with administration rights.

    Please help me, it’s really annoining…

    Tim,

    Sorry to hear you are running into this issue. I would recommend you a quick workaround. Open .myeclipse-blue.properties located in your [USER-HOME]. Typically for windows it is located at c:\Documents and Settings\[username]\.myeclipse-blue.properties. Edit this file with extreme caution. Please ensure you do not enter any extra spaces or special characters like enter key. Add the License_key and licensee details here. Restart your IDE and you should be all set.
