I am developing a simple educational app. Users pick points to connect wires by touching invisible buttons that are really image buttons with a transparent image. My app then loads an image that is only different in that a wire is in a new position. This works great on the emulator. It appears to users that the wires jump to the proper positions. However, the native android version has a problem. It usually work fine for a short time, varies. Then things get stuck. Response to the image buttons stops. Sometimes the app comes back to life if I operate another push button on the page. It appears that all focus is lost form the image buttons but not to the push buttons. Any ideas?

    Hi jetcai,

Can you provide us more details about your device such model and OS?
Also, a sample project that help us to replicate the problem would be great. If you want to keep your data in privacy send it to us to support at genuitec dot com. If it has more than 3 screens/files please zip the content. Use title mobionedata from jetcai

The project can be downloaded from the URL below. It is in skeletal form. The program runs great in the emulator using both IOS and Android devices and tablets. The project starts up correctly in profile mode as a native app on Android. I am using Pantech P9070 with Android version 2.3.5.

Click any button on the opening page of the app. The second page is shown. One should be able to tap any electrical terminal and have a meter wire jump to that position. This works for a time on my phone. Then for some unknown reason the app stops responding to taps on the terminals. Sometimes, tapping a selection on the option list at the right will cause operations to resume.

Do not tap the “help” option as this has no useful target. Any help and suggestions appreciated from anyone.

    Hi,

I have downloaded and tested your app but can’t replicate the problem. We will test it on some other android devices. Do you have other devices you can test on? We test on samsung devices; pantech is not a device that we actively support.

Thanks so much for testing the app. I do have a kindle that runs Android. I’ll give it a try. Would appreciate response from anyone who can replicate the problem. Fantastic product. Great support.
