    Hi there,

    I got the following warning problmes “Implementation of project facet com.ibm.websphere.extended.ejb could not be found. Functionality will be limited.
    “, How can I fix it?

    I migrate a EAR project from RAD 7.5 to MyEclipse Blue 9
    Thanks,

    usryjw,

    Can you please try these steps ?

    a) There is file “org.eclipse.wst.common.project.facet.core.xml” in “.settings” directory of the project (which is hidden).
    b) Edit the file and remove entry:
    <installed facet=”project facet com.ibm.websphere.extended.ejb” version=”xxx”/>
    c) Remove each troublesome entry
    as it might be more than just “com.ibm.websphere.extended.ejb” facet and save the file.

    This should fix the issue. Let me know how it works for you.

    Thanks for your reply first. I have a question for it though.

    After I remove those entries, am I going to lose any functioanlities I had before in RAD? Does MyEclipse support any similar features like what RAD does?

    Thanks,

    One more question: Once those facets got deleted, is the application still able to run in RAD? If I need to have the project running properly in RAD and MyEclipse at the same time?

    usryjw,

    I am afraid by following the steps outlined above may make the project unable to run in RAD or atleast limit the functionality.

    Let me know if you have any further questions.
