files -> import -> General -> Existing projects into workspace
Browse to folder containing project; the project doesnot appear in the
selection box; and the next button is grayed outthe project contains spring, java, jsp files
the project was not created in myeclipse/eclipse
Why can’t I import it?

The Import Project functionality is used to import existing Eclipse/MyEclipse projects. If the project wasn’t created with Eclipse/MYEclipse, there is no way for them to understand how to import that project. You will need to create a new project and Drag and Drop the resources from the hard drive into the new project inside of MyEclipse in the proper order to create a new project.
