    Hi together,

I searched for a while around here, but did not find a solution for my problem.
Currently I’m programming a JSF-Project with some other guys. They are all usind the eclipse web tools platform, as they don’t have a licence for myEclipse. I wanted to import their project into my workspace by checking it out from the SVN. But I can’t get it running on my Tomcat 5.5 because I can’t find the options where to configure to run it on that tomcat.
I don’t want to mess up the configuration files of the others so I don’t want to add WebCapabilities or something similar. I noticed, that the “targeted runtimes” in the project properties are emtpy. Do I have to fill them? And if yes..how?
I also get an error showing “Target runtime Apache Tomcat v5.5 is not defined.”

Would be kind, if someone out here can help me. I really like myEclipse. It is much better than the simple WTP.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi Frozone,
The “Target runtime” nomenclature is from WTP, not MyEclipse. We have a different mode of deployment and server management. So if you are trying to mix WTP and MyEclipse, it will not likely work well.

I would encourage you to stick to using the MyEclipse manner of configuring connectors and deploying your projects to those app servers using our deployment tools and connectors.

    Hi Nipun,

first of all thanks for your answer.
I know, that myEclipse handles deployment in a different way. I would like to use that way, but unfortunately the other 7 developer use WTP. So if I use my own deployment method I will mess up their config settings when committing to the SVN. That’s why I asked how to config the WTP in myEclipse as they are included as it seems.
