    Dear MyEclipse support,

I have a JBoss specific project which consists of:

    – A ejb-jar file (.jar)
    – 2 web archives (.war)
    – 2 service archives (.sar) <– jboss specific

Before MyEclipse came I used to write a Ant-script which packed the files above in a single .ear file.

Is there some way to package the sar files into my ear file using MyEclipse?

    Thanks a lot,

    Harm,

As you’ve noticed, MyEclipse doesn’t have direct support for .sar archives since they are not part of the J2EE spec. However, you can still get MyEclipse to deploy them if you create the archive and then put the archives into your EAR project. Any files within the EAR project are deployed at the level they exist there. While this won’t automatically update the archives before deployment, it will at least allow you to deploy properly.
