appmosMemberHi I just installed the program and I will start the tests. I have tried numerous solutions, most online and could not find one that attend me like I need. I have a question that until now could not be answered: is it better to create separate applications for mobile phones and tablets or one that can be used on both devices? I think the second option would be better, but in this case I need to use a system for image/video/widgets resizing. MobiOne offers this feature? If I buy the license, the support is only offered through the forum or by e-mail too and I will have access to future updates?
One more question:
Thank you.

Yes, you can learn more about auto-resize property for widgets on next document: http://www.genuitec.com/mobile/docs/advancedUIDesign/advancedUIDesign.html#auto_resize_property>If I buy the license, the support is only offered through the forum or by e-mail too and I will have access to future updates?
We are planning to offer premium support in the near future to assist users that require more dedicated and timely attention for their specific app development issues.September 21, 2012 at 6:09 am #330356
appmosMemberHi Octavio.
Thanks for the reply.
I started to test the program yesterday and I really enjoyed it. Congratulations to the whole team.
I tested a small project in the browser and I got a error in the tablet: some images and buttons overlapped and the small images were still stretched. I thought maybe if I had an option to define the aspect ratio, might work better. A widget like a “grid” would also be useful to organize items in a better way. I will use many images in my application and need to avoid this kind of problem. What do you suggest to fix it? Or rather, what am I doing wrong?
I have a few more questions:
– The video widget also works for android?
– Can I use any internal and external javascript code? What widget I use to write the code?
– Can I use JQuery with MobiOne? and HTML? In that object will insert the code?
– Is there a widget that I can use as TAB?
I really would like to know if it’s better to create an app for mobiles and tablets or specific to each device. And about the OS: applications for iOS and/or Android?
Many thanks

appmosMemberI’m starting to use the program and it would be important to clarify these initial concerns. I’ll be grateful if you can help me with this.

support-michaelKeymaster> – The video widget also works for android?
Yes, see the encoding requirements here http://www.genuitec.com/mobile/docs/encodingVideo/encodingVideo.html> – Can I use any internal and external javascript code? What widget I use to write the code?
Yes, you can include additional js libraries, style sheets and any other content from the properties sheet of the main startup screen in the visual designer. See screenshot below.> – Can I use JQuery with MobiOne? and HTML? In that object will insert the code?
The JQuery library is already included in the generated application code. You can select the jquery version from the main startup screen’s properties. You can add import your own js files or modify the special file that is generated with every project named <prj>_custom.js, e.g., productcatalog_custom.js. See this doc http://www.genuitec.com/mobile/docs/workingWithGeneratedFiles/workingWithGeneratedFiles.html

> – Is there a widget that I can use as TAB?
A tab bar widget is planned in the near future. When we implement it the designer will also be upgraded to support design of panel sized content.Attachments:

appmosMemberHi Wayne
Thanks for the answers.
I’m still have a problem with the project layout, as the picture that I have attached in the previous post. What can I do to make the layout be the same for all operating systems and devices? Anyway to create one application for all devices/os? I’ve tried using a panel for each area and for each element, but the problem remains. Only the first image (logo) appears in the correct position, but is stretched when viewed in landscape mode or in other test device.
