    Hello All,

I’m trying to install 4.1 on the Mac. The download seems to complete successfully, I unzip w/o errors, but when I try to launch the resulting “Enterprise Workbench Installer”, nothing happens.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks!

    Hello John,

I’m not for sure what could be causing this problem. Unfortunately our Mac test workstation only has OS X 10.3.X so we can’t determine if 10.4 is making a difference. The easist thing would probably be to download the manual install which is located on the same download page as the OS X installer. When you unzip the package you will find installation instructions inside.

Just FYI, the same thing happens to me with Mac OS X 10.4.4.

    I’ll try the manual install.

    Same problem with 10.3.9.

I’ve got this error in the console app :

JavaVM FATAL: Failed to load the jvm library. Exit

    Fabien,

I would recommend just doing the manual install. Let us know if that gives you any problems.

I just installed 4.1 on OS X 1.4.4 without any problems.

Same problem here on OS X 10.4.4

I can’t even do a manual installation because every time I try to add a new Extension Location my Eclipse crashes 🙁

    Eclipse 3.1.2
    MyEclipse 4.1
    Mac OS X 10.4.4
    J2SE 5.0 (1.5.0_06_57)

    banfi,

Can you post the contents of your error log? (<workspace_dir>/.metadata/.log). That will help us determine what may be going on.
